Meals or Snacks - Keep it simple!




Putting a meal or snack together doesn’t have to be difficult.  It can be really easy!  Something simple, such as Icelandic or Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries can be a great way to start your day or a pick me up snack in the afternoon!


Pictured above is Siggi’s Seasonal Lavender and Lemon yogurt and fresh raspberries.


Siggi’s Yogurt provides: 140 calories, 2.5 g fat, 14 g carbohydrate, 15 g protein!  Along with 10% Daily Value (DV) of Calcium and 4% DV of Potassium.  


The mix of protein, fat and carbohydrates in Icelandic or Greek yogurt can help you feel fuller longer.  However, I love pairing yogurt with fruit, nuts or granola, among other things.  So, I paired it with some fresh raspberries today!


The fresh raspberries per 1 cup (123g) provide: 52 calories, 0.7g fat, 12 g carbohydrates, 1 g protein!  These raspberries have the added benefit of being high in fiber (7g, which is 26% of the DV) and high in Vitamin C (providing 44% of the DV). 


Fiber also helps to keep you full for a longer period of time and Vitamin C helps support your immune system.  


Simple, but effective!  Keeps you full and gives you nutrients to fuel your body!
